Just like last year, instead of gifts, we're collecting money for an orphanage home in Malaysia. From what we raise, $80 will go towards the two gifts Gaia has picked out, pyjamas and a water bottle, which will be wrapped and waiting for her at the party, together with one big card for everyone to sign.
The rest will go towards gifts and essential items for the children at the orphanage, based on the specific needs and requests of the institution.
Gaia would love to share a little bit of her birthday joy with children who don't usually get to celebrate their birthdays with parties and presents. 💛
Any amount works.
Last year, we raised $1,100 from Gaia's and Luna's (Gaia's sister) birthdays and delivered joy and happiness to the children at Yayasan Sayap Ibu in Jakarta, an orphanage that takes care of children with disabilities. The money went to essentials for the orphanage and toys the kids wouldn't otherwise have gotten.
